PTA Membership Meeting on May 4th

The May Membership meeting will be on May 4, 2021 at 6:30pm. Under guidance of Preston Administration and Texas PTA, this Preston Elementary PTA Membership meeting will utilize Zoom for the meeting.

In this meeting, we will review previous reports, budget amendments, and conduct other business. To attend this meeting as a voting member, you must complete your PTA membership by May 1, 2021. Please email pta.preston@gmail.com with questions.
To receive the Zoom Meeting ID and Password, please RSVP. Registration for the meeting closes on May 2, 2021. The Zoom information will be sent on May 3, 2021 to the email address provided in the form. When attending the meeting, your PTA registered name should be visible along with your membership status denoted as an (M). Ex: (M) Brooke Eung
The Membership meeting will be conducted utilizing the Texas PTA meeting rules. Please reference this website for questions or information regarding the procedure of the meeting. The voting process will follow the protocols of a verbalized affirmative or negative for all motions presented unless ballot voting is required.

5th Grade Performance following May PTA Meeting!

In conjunction with this meeting, our 5^th graders will perform a virtual concert prepared by Mrs. Bush. The performance will be shown following the May PTA Membership meeting. Anyone interested in watching the performance, must register here by May 2, 2021. The zoom code for the concert will only be sent to registered participants. This is a time to let our students have a moment in the spotlight for the Preston Pride. The PTA meeting will be conducted prior to the concert viewing.

It's been a fun two weeks of book fair!

For the past two weeks, we've spent our days .....

playing games
winning prizes
enjoying a Family Reading Night event!

What happens when you have the support and participation of awesome teachers, staff, and parents?

Together, we helped put over 800 new books into the hands of our PES students and we grew our library's resources! Now, that is something to get excited about.

A Texas size thank you to each of you for making all of this possible. And an extra shout out to Mrs. Armentrout, our fabulous Librarian, for all her guidance, time, and help. Hope to see you next fall at the book fair, until then keep reading!
