Prston PTA Scholarship

AHS Class of 2024! Congratulations!! Congratulations, Nheya Kumar, on being the first recipient of the scholarship from Preston Elementary School! The $1000 check from the Preston PTA is a testament to your hard work and dedication. Thank you, Foundation for Allen, for helping select such a deserving candidate. Best wishes for a successful college journey!

Preston PTA hosted author Polly Holyoke on April 25th. It was such fun having this Bluebonnet Award author on campus. Huge shoutout to Mrs. Armentrout for arranging the visit. Polly Holyoke spoke with the 3rd-6th graders about tips for being a better author. They learned about her inspiration for her first series, Neptune, and her newest series, Skyriders. Ms. Holyoke's biggest secrets to success? Read frequently, write often, unplug from devices, and leave lots of time to daydream!
