Preston Pride Walk or Ride- October 7th

Preston's Healthy Lifestyles Committee invites you to get outside to Walk or Ride! Walking and bicycling enables children to incorporate the regular physical activity they need each day! Let's strive for a healthy Preston Pride!

THIS WEDNESDAY, at your convenience, take to the trails with your family either on foot or on bikes, snap a pic, and post to our event page.  Click here for more info!

Participants will be entered to win a Dicks Sporting Goods gift card and lots of other fun prizes!!!  But you must RSVP to be entered for the drawing! Happy Trails, y'all!

These are some of the categories, Photography, Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition and Visual Arts. Students can submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available categories. Last Day for submission is Oct 29th!

Book Fair Wish List Delivery Plan

Are you an At-Home learner who ordered books off your teacher's wish list?

Before bringing your books, please email jennifer.armentrout@allenisd.org to schedule your delivery.  Be sure your books are bagged and labeled before leaving in the designated drop box at the front door of Preston.

Calling All Artists!

The City of Allen presents Keep Allen Beautiful’s Annual Recycled Art Competition.

This year’s theme is My Clean & Green Community.  

Unleash your creativity and submit your recycled art and entry form NO LATER than 5pm October 23, 2020 to ContestKAB@gmail.com.

(Due to COVID-19, all portions of the competition will be held virtually- submission, judging, gallery, and awards.)

Virtual Assembly Coming to PES!

Our first virtual assembly will be held on Oct. 29 during Red Ribbon Week.  The 45 minute show will be performed and led by the Prismatic Magic Company and will focus on Character Building skills. The fun part? This important messaging will be taught through magic of lasers! Students can easily experience this assembly both at-home or in-school. Teachers will either set-up the assembly in their classrooms or, for our at-home learners, they will send out the log-in information and times to students/guardians so they can participate. Stay tuned!

  • 139 passed and awaited final approval/veto by the Governor                                                                                            As a member of the Preston PTA, you are also a part of the Texas PTA initiatives.  This year, more than ever, we want you to be part of the Preston PTA so that the voices of our children are heard in Austin. We are only about 70 members away from having a voice for every child at our school. You can become a member today by clicking HERE.
