Preston PTA Membership Meeting

Join us for the Preston PTA Membership Meeting on Thursday, September 9th at 6:30 pm in the Preston Cafeteria.  Please consider masking to attend this meeting and social distancing will be encouraged.

WatchDOGS Pizza Night

Register now for pizza night this Thursday.  We hope to see our DADS and students for dinner and WatchDOGS information.  Pizza will be served at 5:30 pm and informational meeting to follow at 6:00 pm.  Please consider masking to attend this meeting and social distancing will be encouraged.

Back to School 2021
ArtSparks Volunteers Needed!

Do you want a low time commitment and fun and rewarding way to be involved in your child's class? ArtSparks has classes available for volunteers! We have many new families in our Preston Pride and are delighted to include them in the ArtSparks program. Although ArtSparks will back in classrooms this year, the training session for volunteers will be via zoom on Sept. 15 at 8:15 am. Contact Marianne Lewis  for more information.

SPIRIT DAY at JC's Burger House

Preston's first PTA Spirit Day of the school year is September 22nd will be at JC's Burger House. 

Make a purchase for dine-in or take-out, ALL DAY, on Wednesday September 22nd and put your receipt in the box.  Preston will get back 20% of the sales.  They have great burgers, including a vegetarian one that is amazing!

Spirit Wear & Field Trip Shirts Delivery

All ordered spirit wear and field trip shirts will be delivered to your child's classroom on 9/16/2021.  If you have any questions, please contact Kerri, Spirit Wear Chair.

Our BOOK FAIR is coming at the end of the month. Stay tuned for details and volunteer opportunities.

Preston Library Legacy

Preston Library Legacy books are promoted by the Preston Library to honor our students and families, as well as, build our collection with new and exciting books!  With a $25 donation to the Library, a book is purchased for our permanent collection and is inscribed with your student’s name.  Your student will be presented with this book and their picture will be displayed in the Library!  They will then get to check the book out for 2 weeks.

 

Here are some suggestions for opportunities to honor your student with a Preston Library Legacy book:

  • Birthdays
  • Accomplishments
  • New member of the family
  • Special family events

 

Preston Library Legacy books are a great way to show your student the value that you place on reading, as well as helping to grow our collection.  If interested please fill out this form.
