Arts in Education

Arts in Education is a long-standing priority for PTA, and working to incorporate the arts into daily learning contributes to growth and education of the whole child. PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore the arts based on the 2026 year is "What My Culture Means To Me" Visit the Preston PTA Reflections page for more details.

ArtSparks is an art appreciation & visual literacy program designed by the Allen Arts Alliance. Preston PTA is proud to offer this program that brings trained volunteers into local classrooms, giving the children the opportunity to interact with and explore great works of art, participate in an engaging discussion, and reinforce concepts with related enrichment & hands-on activities.

The Allen Arts Festival is organized each spring by the Allen Arts Alliance in cooperation with Watters Creek. Proceeds from the festival are distributed back to the city's ArtSparks/ArtsReach program and to other non-profit arts organizations under their umbrella.
