Preston PTA receives a percentage of all Book Fair sales and proceeds, which will be used to buy new library books and other media materials for Preston Elementary.  We host 2 book fairs each school year, one in the fall and one in the spring.


2023 Fall BOOK FAIR

October 2 - October 5


2024 Spring BOOK FAIR


April 8 - April 12



The fall book fair will be for the student and parents. Students will visit the book fair during their library period as a class. Students who are absent on that day or would like visit the book fair again, will have a chance to do so at a different time during the week, at the discretion of their teacher. Parents will have the opportunity to shop with their student during lunch time or after school. The book fair will close at 3:00pm on Thursday.

What is the purpose of the Preston Elementary Book Fair?


We want to get the kids excited about reading!! We talk with the kids daily to discover which books they’re most interested and excited about. We help students find good-fit books for their home as well as their classroom libraries. There’s nothing better than hear a kid gasp when they find that perfect book!


…As a side-benefit, we also raise money to buy books and other curriculum related materials for our school.


Does the school receive any benefit from the book fair?


Yes! Anywhere from 25% to 50% of every item purchased is donated back to the school in the form of new books, online media and other curriculum-related materials. While our library has a wonderful collection of fiction and non-fiction books, there's always room to grow and expand.


If we order books thru the online Book Fair, when and how will our orders arrive?

The online book fair is a great option for those who can’t make it to school to view the book fair in person. The online book fair actually has an even wider selection of books! Orders made thru the online Book Fair will be delivered to your home.
